Apso crisis

"The crisis of the moment is that , well, the entire story is too long, but there is an Apso with 8 day pups, all 5 are male pups, that urgently need a home because the people the Apsos are living with are in dire circumstances, the father has had a tracheotomy (they cut the throat to insert a pipe to feed) because he has terminal throat cancer, he is being looked after by his daughter and they live in a one room apartment in Kirti Nagar. The Apso wandered in about a couple of weeks ago and was clearly a lost dog. They let her stay, but now the doc has said that the presence of the dog and pups in that congested environment increases the chances of infection for the father.

I have some wonderful news, the best. My prayers have been answered! Romeo's owner messaged me earlier this evening to say that he is going to keep him after all. He's hired someone to be with him while he's at work so there will always be someone at home with the dog. It's not easy to abandon a companion of eight years, is it? Old Simba's been with me for only two and a half and I can't imagine life without him. Oh, I'm so relieved, I'm sure I'll sleep well tonight! Thank you all for your encouragement and support, I am so very grateful.

"These are photographs of Patchy (Chhote) in different moods. He is very very playful and loves splashing water……………what you see on the floor is water which he managed by pulling the pipe out while I was filling the cooler. He is about five ( 5 ) months old and is the only survivor out of seven ( 7 ). When my brother brought him home he was very weak and had a big wound on his left hind leg and the bone was visible and we didn't think he'd survive but we never gave up. We used to keep him in a cardboard box with thick padding. We would have loved to keep him but we already have one and she cannot tolerate or stand the sight of him and hence we have to keep him on the balcony, which is rather unfair but we are helpless. Please help us to find Chhote a loving/caring home.

"i wanted to inform all the members that as soon as they adopt any puppy, please please please get it vaxinated for rabies, corona virus, parvo and canine destemper these are deadly deseases and can cause harm to the owner as well as the other pets in the house, also get your new pup dewormed and follow a deworming session every month because even worms can do alot of harm, so please take this message seriously if you want to avoid suffering the pain of loosing a pet, it is only being fair to your furry little friend and also yourself. thank you."

there has been a lot of positive response regarding the yard sale- so thats definitely on for early jan, please start rummaging around in your attics/basements/garages etc for things you wouldnt mind not having anymore :D
